White Celestine with Calcite and Strontianite- Mina el Tule, Mexico

Lovely aesthetic cabinet display piece mineral.  Opaque white, almost colorless appearance, with many small rainbows visible. Surface is etched and covered with speckles of sugar-dusted white calcite and light yellow strontianite. The calcite and strontianite have a slight white fluorescence.

Mined prior to 1971 from Mina el Tule, Melchor Múzquiz, Mun. de Melchor Múzquiz, Coahuila, Mexico
